Serie Noire

Franck Poupart (Patrick Dewaere) sells goods door to door in the grim outskirts of Paris, and he wants out of a marriage that has gone cold and a life that has gone nowhere. Then he meets Mona (Marie Trintignant), a teenage girl held in a world she can't leave, and Alain Corneau follows him as he fixes on her. To win her, Franck turns to robbery and violence, and every step pulls him further from his wife, his work, and his own mind.
