“Fear is a place.”

A series of old audio-taped psychiatric sessions with a former patient named Mary Hobbes sits in the abandoned Danvers State Psychiatric Hospital, and no one on the asbestos crew can say why the tapes pull at them. Brad Anderson sends Gordon (Peter Mullan) and his men, Phil (David Caruso) among them, in on a one-week deadline. Tempers fray between Phil and Hank (Josh Lucas) over a girl, and neither man will let go of it.
