Sethupathi

In 2016 Tamil Nadu, Inspector Ka. Sethupathi (Vijay Sethupathi) takes on the murder of a fellow cop and follows it to Vaathiyar (Vela Ramamoorthy), a powerful man nobody expects to see in handcuffs. S. U. Arunkumar builds the film from the daily mechanics of police work, and it is the arrest itself that starts costing Sethupathi his standing. At home, his wife (Remya Nambeesan) waits through the threats and long nights, and their marriage carries the weight.
