Seven Days… Seven Nights

Anne Desbarèdes (Jeanne Moreau) is married to a wealthy businessman and spends her days in Blaye, a small town where nothing changes. After a murder in a café, one she only hears and does not see, she goes back the next day and meets Chauvin (Jean-Paul Belmondo), who tells her what happened. Peter Brook keeps the two of them at the same café table, talking, while the town carries on around them.
