Seven Pounds

“Seven names. Seven strangers. One secret.”

Ben (Will Smith) works as an IRS agent, and he uses the job to find seven strangers who need a gift only he can give. Gabriele Muccino follows him through their doorways, among them Emily (Rosario Dawson), whose failing heart keeps her tired and housebound. The film keeps returning to what a person owes the world, and to the idea that making things right might cost more than money.
