Seventh Son

“When darkness falls, the son will rise.”

In a country where witches, boggarts and ghouls prowl the dark, Master John Gregory (Jeff Bridges) has spent his life as the local spook, and he is no longer young. His last hope for an apprentice is Tom Ward (Ben Barnes), a young farmer's son, since most who tried before him did not survive. Sergei Bodrov sends the old man and the boy toward Mother Malkin (Julianne Moore), whom Gregory carries a dread of.
