Sex and the Single Girl
“She wrote the book on love!”
Bob Weston (Tony Curtis) writes for a tabloid that trades in scandal, and his latest target is the psychologist Helen Gurley Brown (Natalie Wood). To get close to her, he borrows the identity of his henpecked neighbor, Frank Broderick (Henry Fonda), whose wife Sylvia (Lauren Bacall) is not in on it. Richard Quine shoots it all in 1964 Technicolor, with Curtis and Wood trading glances across a glossy, brightly lit office.
