Sex Is Comedy

“Faking it has never been like this.”

Jeanne (Anne Parillaud) is a film director who will accept no compromise on one scene, an intimate encounter between a young actor and actress. Grégoire Colin and Roxane Mesquida play the pair, who cannot stand each other, while her loyal assistant tries to keep the shoot moving. Catherine Breillat stays close to the crew's daily work, and every hour the two leads refuse to cooperate puts the whole film at risk.
