Sexual Drive

“A Japanese triptych about sex, aphrodisiac foods and secret desires.”

Kurita (Tateto Serizawa) is a shabby man who turns up in the lives of three strangers, each carrying a secret he is slow to explain. They are a designer worried about his sexless life (Enatsu (Ryo Ikeda)), an office worker recovering from panic attacks, and an ad agent trying to leave his lover. Kota Yoshida splits the film into three stories linked by food, natto, mapo tofu and ramen, and plays each with a perfectly straight face.
