Shadows and Fog

“A delicate comedy-mystery in true Allen fashion.”

A strangler is loose in town, and the bookkeeper Kleinman (Woody Allen) is pulled out of bed to join a vigilante group he cannot find. He wanders the fog-bound streets looking for them, crossing paths with Irmy (Mia Farrow) and a clown (John Malkovich). Woody Allen shot it in black and white on the largest set ever built in New York, and Kleinman has no idea what the night will ask of him.
