Nobody can say who poisoned Louise Saitta (Carole Laure), and her brother, Captain Tony Saitta (Stuart Whitman), will not wait for anyone else to find out. Alberto De Martino sends the Ottawa cop into Montreal, where Sergeant Ned Matthews (John Saxon) and Dr. George Tracer (Martin Landau) are drawn into the search beside him. What drives Tony is the bond with his sister, and every hard turn he takes through the city is for her.
