“Shaft is stickin' it...all the way.”

In 1973, John Shaft (Richard Roundtree) leaves New York and travels incognito to Ethiopia, where he is pulled into the business of a human trafficking ring. Guillermin follows him from Addis Ababa to France, with Vincent Amafi (Frank Finlay) and Aleme (Vonetta McGee) among the people he meets along the way. Shaft is a long way from his own streets, and the people the ring has taken are running out of time.
