Shahid

“Based On The Life Of One Of The Most Controversial Figures Of Our Time.”

In 2010, a lawyer named Shahid Azmi was shot dead in Mumbai, and the film starts from what a man spends his working life on before that happens. Shahid Azmi (Rajkummar Rao) defends people the law has accused of terrorism, taking cases others turn down while his brother Arif (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub) worries beside him. Hansal Mehta keeps the courtrooms crowded and the files thick, and Rao carries them from case to case, still working at the end of every day.
