Shakespeare in Love

“Love is the only inspiration.”

Will Shakespeare (Joseph Fiennes) is a playwright in London with writer's block and mounting debts to his theatre's financiers. He meets Viola De Lesseps (Gwyneth Paltrow), a woman disguised as a man who craves the stage. As Shakespeare writes Romeo and Juliet, their passion bleeds into the play itself. At the final performance, she sits in the gallery watching him from afar.
