Shamus

“SHAMUS a pool-shooting, card-playing, broad-chasing, private eye...cross him, and he'll blow your head off!”

Shamus McCoy (Burt Reynolds) is a private detective in New York who wants one thing from the job, and that is the money. A man hires him for $10,000 to recover millions in diamonds stolen from a safe, or to find whoever killed the burglar afterward. Buzz Kulik sends him through a city of gunmen and lawmen, where a ten-thousand-dollar fee is the only reason he has to keep asking questions.
