Sharky's Machine

“Nobody leans on Sharky's Machine.”

Tom Sharky (Burt Reynolds) is an Atlanta narcotics cop who gets busted down to the vice squad, a job he treats as a punishment. Working nights, he stumbles onto a conspiracy tied to a local politician and builds a small team of misfits to gather the evidence. He also becomes fixated on Domino (Rachel Ward), a high-priced call girl he watches from a distance and has never met, and Burt Reynolds directs the chase as a love story run through a surveillance lens.
