Sharmaji Namkeen

“There is no age to coming of age”

Brij Gopal Sharma (Rishi Kapoor, with Paresh Rawal completing the role) is a 58-year-old widower in West Delhi, pushed into early retirement from the company he served all his working life. His two sons are busy, and he cannot work out what a man does with his days. Hitesh Bhatia, in his first feature, keeps the camera close to Sharma's kitchen and the women of the kitty party who crowd into it.
