“Read between the lies.”

Tom (Justice Smith) is a quiet bookstore owner in New York who falls for Sandra (Briana Middleton), and Benjamin Caron's film follows the money that begins to move around them. The Hobbes family lives in wealth and tight control, with Madeline Phillips (Julianne Moore) and Richard Hobbes (John Lithgow) among the people pulled in as Max (Sebastian Stan) arrives. Each of them is hiding a lie from the others, and every lie has a price.
