Sharpe's Rifles
Richard Sharpe (Sean Bean) has risen from the ranks of Wellington's army on courage alone, and in Portugal in 1809 he wants a command of his own. He and his men, including Sergeant Patrick Harper (Daragh O'Malley), go behind French lines to cut at Napoleon's forces. Tom Clegg shot it on location in Portugal and the Crimea, so the marching and the fighting happen in real country.
