Shattered

“A love he can't forget. A murder he can't remember.”

Dan Merrick (Tom Berenger) wakes after a car accident with no memory, married to a woman, Judith (Greta Scacchi), whom he cannot place. Flashes of events and places he doesn't recognize keep breaking in, and Gus Klein (Bob Hoskins), a pet shop owner who moonlights as a private detective, says he once did work for him. Wolfgang Petersen sends Dan looking for the man he was, with no way to know who is telling him the truth.
