She-Devil

“The story of the greatest evil ever known to man... His ex-wife.”

Ruth (Roseanne Barr) is a plain, heavyset housewife who has spent years keeping her family running, until her husband Bob (Ed Begley Jr.) leaves her and the children for Mary Fisher (Meryl Streep), a glamorous, best-selling romance novelist. Susan Seidelman follows Ruth as she sets out to take back everything that was hers. Bob has a career, a new lover and a house to lose, and Ruth has nothing left that keeps her from going after all of it.
