“Mae West gives a 'Hot Time' to the nation!”

Lady Lou (Mae West) owns a nightclub and sings in it, and the men in her life are more numerous than she can keep track of. One of them is an escaped criminal who is heading her way, sure she has stayed true to him while he was gone. Lowell Sherman sets the story against Captain Cummings (Cary Grant), the young temperance leader who comes to help her, and the two of them look at each other like a joke neither has quite heard.
