Shéhérazade

Zach (Dylan Robert) walks out of juvenile detention at seventeen and finds his mother won't take him back. He drifts through the housing projects of Marseille until he meets Shéhérazade (Kenza Fortas), a young sex worker, and falls for her before he understands what he is becoming to her. Jean-Bernard Marlin casts non-professional actors and films the city's back streets close and unpolished, so the story keeps its documentary grain.
