Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

“The game is afoot.”

In 1891 Europe, a string of bombings and deaths looks unconnected to everyone except Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.), who follows the trail to Professor James Moriarty (Jared Harris). Dr. John Watson (Jude Law), about to marry, gets pulled along with Madam Simza Heron (Noomi Rapace) as the pursuit crosses the Continent. Guy Ritchie cuts the chases and fistfights fast, and the film rarely lets the three of them stand still.
