Sherlock Holmes and the Voice of Terror

(1942)Directed by John Rawlins65 minCrime, Mystery, Thriller
“THE MASTER MINDS OF MYSTERY!”

Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) wants to know who is speaking. A voice on the wireless, apparently from Nazi Germany, names the next act of terror in England and then it happens. John Rawlins sends Holmes and Doctor Watson (Nigel Bruce) after the broadcasts for the Defense Committee, and the partnership of the thin, sharp detective and the loyal, blustering doctor is what holds the film together.
