Sherlock Holmes Faces Death

Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) wants a quiet answer to a question of who is killing the men at a wartime convalescent home. Doctor Watson (Nigel Bruce) has been volunteering there and sends for him as the bodies add up. Roy William Neill gives Holmes a long list of suspects among the owners, the staff and the recovering patients, and Holmes goes down it one name at a time.
