“These two opposites attract... but EVERYONE'S trying to keep them apart!”

Zach Siler (Freddie Prinze Jr.) is the big man at his high school until his cheerleader girlfriend Taylor (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) leaves him for a reality-television star. To get his standing back, he takes a bet: in six weeks, turn Laney Boggs (Rachael Leigh Cook), a nerdy outcast, into prom queen. Robert Iscove, loosely following Pygmalion and My Fair Lady, keeps it a bright, quick teen comedy.
