She's Too Young

“Her 14-year-old daughter's not fast... she's just keeping up.”

Dawn Gensler (Miriam McDonald) is fourteen and wants to keep being the good girl her mother thinks she is, even as she gets pulled into a circle of friends at school who pass sex around among themselves. Her mother, Ginnie (Marcia Gay Harden), finds out when an outbreak of sexually transmitted disease starts moving through the group. Tom McLoughlin keeps the story close to the two of them, a mother and daughter who suddenly can't talk without a fight.
