Shooting Dogs

“What would you risk to make a difference?”

Joe Connor (Hugh Dancy) is a young English teacher in Kigali who wants to do some good and has come to Rwanda to do it. He works at a school run by Father Christopher (John Hurt), where thousands of refugees now crowd the grounds, with a small UN force at the gate. Michael Caton-Jones, working from the experiences of BBC producer David Belton, asks both men to decide whether to stay beside the people sheltering with them or leave with their own lives.
