Shopgirl

Mirabelle (Claire Danes) spends her days selling gloves at a department store, waiting for her art to matter to anyone. Two men come into her life, Jeremy (Jason Schwartzman), a broke and clumsy musician, and Ray Porter (Steve Martin), a wealthy divorcé who sends her a gift. Anand Tucker follows all three, and what Ray offers and what Mirabelle needs do not quite match.
