Shrek

(2001)Directed by Andrew Adamson, Vicky Jenson90 min · PGAnimation, Comedy, Fantasy, Adventure, Family
“The greatest fairy tale never told.”

A crowd of banished fairy tale creatures has landed in one ogre's swamp, sent there by the obsessive Lord Farquaad (John Lithgow). Shrek (Mike Myers) just wants his mud and his quiet back, so he agrees to rescue Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) from a fire-breathing dragon, with a wisecracking Donkey (Eddie Murphy) tagging along. Andrew Adamson and Vicky Jenson fill the old storybook world with jokes and warmth.
