Sibel

In a secluded village in the mountains of Turkey's Black Sea region, Sibel (Damla Sönmez), 25, lives with her father and her sister. She cannot speak, so she talks in the whistled language her ancestors have used there for generations. Çagla Zencirci and Guillaume Giovanetti follow her through a life apart from the villagers, and the film finds her closest bond in Ali (Erkan Kolçak Köstendil).
