(2005)Directed by Sven Unterwaldt89 minComedy

In a Celtic kingdom of dragons and castle feasts, the fearless dragon slayer Siegfried (Tom Gerhardt) wins the heart of the beautiful Kriemhild (Dorkas Kiefer). Sven Unterwaldt plays the old German saga as a broad comedy, with Uschi (Janine Kunze), Hagen (Volker Büdts) and Alberich (Axel Neumann) all around to stir things up. Under the jokes sits a plain idea: a legend everyone knows by heart gets funnier the harder the cast plays it straight.
