Lary (Mimi Brănescu), a neurologist just back from Paris, wants to collect his wife Sandra (Judith State) and get through a meal commemorating his father, dead a year now. At his mother's flat in Bucharest, the relatives sit waiting for the priest and argue about wars and world events, and about plenty that has nothing to do with either. Cristi Puiu shows a family trying to honor one man while no one agrees on anything, the dead included.
