Silent Fall

“A Savage Crime. A Silent Witness.”

Two parents are found murdered, and the only witness is their young son, Tim Warden (Ben Faulkner), an autistic boy who will not say a word about what he saw. The therapist Jake Rainer (Richard Dreyfuss) is brought in by Sheriff Mitch Rivers (J.T. Walsh) to reach him, and Bruce Beresford follows the case as it opens. Jake gets further with Tim's teenage sister than with Tim himself, and the Wardens' marriage turns out less settled than it looked.
