Silent Wedding

In a Romanian village in 1953, Mara (Meda Andreea Victor) and Iancu (Alexandru Potocean) have planned their wedding for the day after Stalin dies. The Red Army and the local Communist authorities order the celebration stopped, so the guests try to carry on with the feast quietly. Horațiu Mălăele fills the village with whispering relatives, and Mara stands in her wedding dress, waiting for the day to begin.
