Simon Birch
“Destiny has big plans for little Simon Birch.”
In a small town, Simon Birch (Ian Michael Smith) is an 11-year-old dwarf who keeps pressing the local reverend (David Strathairn) with hard theological questions. His best friend Joe Wenteworth (Joseph Mazzello) has never known his father, and his mother Rebecca (Ashley Judd) won't say a word about him. Mark Steven Johnson follows the two boys as Simon comes along on Joe's search, a small figure beside him on the road.
