Simone Barbès or Virtue

Simone Barbès (Ingrid Bourgoin) works the lobby of a porn theater in leather, trading banter with her coworker Martine (Martine Simonet) and watching the odd customers drift through. When her shift ends, she goes to find her girlfriend, a waitress at a lesbian club. Marie-Claude Treilhou follows her through the night in grainy, unhurried scenes, and a lonely man on the prowl (Michel Delahaye) is waiting somewhere along the way.
