Sin Takes a Holiday

Sylvia Brenner (Constance Bennett) is a plain, quiet secretary who says yes when her boss Gaylord Stanton (Kenneth MacKenna) proposes, though he only asked to dodge marrying another woman. Paul L. Stein follows her into the Stanton money, where the dowdy wife trades her drab clothes for finery and a new nerve. With Reggie Durant (Basil Rathbone) close by, she starts to wonder about an affair, and a marriage built on a convenience is left with little to hold it.
