“Dance with the devil.”

Twin brothers Smoke and Stack (Michael B. Jordan) come back to the Mississippi Delta in 1932, hoping to start over and leave their troubled pasts in Chicago behind. Ryan Coogler sets their homecoming in the Jim Crow South, with their young cousin Sammie (Miles Caton) beside them as they try to build a new life of their own. But an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back, and everyone they love is within its reach.
