Sissi

“The magical love story of the young Empress Elisabeth!”

In the 1850s, the Bavarian ducal family travels to Austria, where Princess Helene (Uta Franz) is expected to be matched with the young Emperor Franz Joseph (Karlheinz Böhm). Her younger sister Sissi (Romy Schneider) comes along, and Franz Joseph happens upon her while out fishing. Ernst Marischka follows Sissi, easy and unpolished, who has no plan to fall for the emperor and does it anyway.
