Sister

Twelve-year-old Simon (Kacey Mottet Klein) rides the gondola up to a Swiss ski resort each morning and steals from the wealthy guests, skis and gloves and lunches, then sells it all to pay for the household he shares with his sister Louise (Léa Seydoux). She drifts in and out of jobs and keeps her own hours. Ursula Meier films the mountain and the valley below as two separate worlds, and follows Simon quietly between them.
