Sister Death

“Before Veronica...”

Narcisa (Aria Bedmar), a novice in Spain in 1949, arrives at an old convent that now runs as a girls' school, hoping to be taken in as a teacher and a true sister. Paco Plaza sets her among Sister Julia (Maru Valdivielso) and the Mother Superior (Luisa Merelas), in rooms where every look from the older women is watched in turn. Narcisa walks the corridors in her plain habit, a young woman trying to make herself belong.
