Sitting in Bars with Cake

“There’s no recipe for the perfect friendship.”

In a city where Jane (Yara Shahidi) bakes in her kitchen and keeps to herself, her best friend Corinne (Odessa A'zion) has a plan. For one year, Jane will carry a homemade cake into bars and let strangers come to her. Trish Sie follows the two women through that year of frosting and small talk, and Jane learns what it costs to stay close to someone when everything changes.
