“It takes two to skidoo.”

In 1968, retired gangster Tough Tony Banks (Jackie Gleason) is living quietly with his wife Flo (Carol Channing) when a mob kingpin called God summons him back for one last hit on "Blue Chips" Packard. Banks refuses, so God kidnaps his daughter Darlene and holds her aboard his luxury yacht. Otto Preminger sets this old-guard crime story loose in the counterculture, and the film treats the gangsters and the hippies as equally strange tribes.
