“In this house...”

Kevin (Lucas Paul) and Kaylee (Dali Rose Tetreault) wake in the middle of the night to find their father gone, and the windows and doors of the house have vanished with him. Kyle Edward Ball keeps the two children small in the frame, mostly in the dark, with a television murmuring in the next room. Under the missing father and the sealed walls sits a plain childhood fear, that the people who are supposed to protect you can simply not be there.
