Skirt Day

A gun falls out of a student's bag in the middle of a lesson, and Sonia Bergerac (Isabelle Adjani), a French teacher worn down by insults and insubordination, picks it up and locks the classroom door. Outside, Labouret (Denis Podalydès) is sent to negotiate while the Minister of the Interior and his own superior push for a faster ending. Jean-Paul Lilienfeld keeps it in one room, and Sonia stands over thirty teenagers who have never once listened to her.
