Slap Shot 2: Breaking the Ice

“It's a brand new game with brand new rules!”

Sean Linden (Stephen Baldwin) plays for the Chiefs, a minor league hockey team still skating with the original Hanson Brothers on the roster. Then the club is sold, and the new owner hands the bench to Jessie Dage (Jessica Steen) and enters them in a league built around a showboating opponent that exists to humiliate them. Steve Boyum's sequel is about a team that keeps showing up to get beaten and would sooner be loud about it.
