Slaughter

“It's not only his name, it's his business and sometimes--his pleasure!”

Slaughter (Jim Brown) is a former Green Beret captain whose loved ones have been killed by the Mob, and he wants the men responsible. Then the feds lean on him with blackmail and send him to South America, where Dominic Hoffo (Rip Torn) and the rest of the mobsters are waiting. Jack Starrett sets Slaughter's pursuit in a grainy, hurried 1972 America, and Brown moves through it with his jaw set and his hands ready.
