Slaughterhouse

“You'll never get out in one piece!”

In 1987, Lester Bacon (Don Barrett) runs a family slaughterhouse with his son Buddy (Joe B. Barton), and the town lawyer, the sheriff, and a rival owner all want the land under it. Lester has no intention of selling, so he sends Buddy, huge and mentally deranged, after anyone who conspires against them. Rick Roessler plays the carnage as black comedy, a story about a family that treats its property as worth more than the people who come asking for it.
